The ELISA SYSTEMS assay is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that may be used to screen food products for the presence of allergenic material caused by cross-contamination. This assay is a rapid and reliable test that significantly reduces the time required to screen food products and environmental samples for the presence of allergens. A few highlights:
- Range of Quantification: .1 – 25ppm
- Results in 30 – 75 minutes
- 48 well kit for large number of samples
- Store: between 2 – 8°C.
- Note: swabs for environmental samples sold separately
- Note: Additive for high-polyphenol matrices sold separately
Necessary materials not supplied (but available for purchase from Emport LLC)
- Laboratory balance accurate to 2 decimal places.
- Suitable clean containers for use in the sample extraction procedure. Low-binding capacity plastic disposable containers suggested.
- Capped centrifuge test tubes (min 10 mL)
- Test vials (1.5-2 mL)
- Enzyme Conjugate and Substrate volumes prior to use.
- Disposable gloves
- Distilled or deionised water
- Timer
- Vortex mixer
- Tube rotator (or similar mixing device)
- Centrifuge
- Thermostatically-controlled water bath
- Automatic microplate washer (recommended)
- Mono-channel pipettes, multi-channel pipettes (recommended), pipette tips
- ELISA plate reader (with 450 nm filter)
