Path-Chek® Protein Swabs provides a simple, rapid indication of general surface cleanliness. Results are available in a few seconds with no equipment required. Suitable for day-to-day allergen cleaning verification, and general hygiene monitoring. Not suitable for allergen cleaning validation.

Path-Chek Protein Swabs do not detect bacteria, only protein. The amount of protein detected will vary by matrix and by surface conditions. Tests for specific foodborne pathogens and/or allergens and/or ATP may be recommended as complementary environmental monitoring.

Storage and Safety
Store unopened Path-Chek Hygiene Protein Swabs at 4 -25°C. Refrigerate opened but unused swabs in a resealable bag for up to 7 days.

• Keep swabs in tightly closed container (pouch).
• Keep swabs away from sources of ignition.
• Do not smoke when using swabs.

• Clean disposable lint free disposable cloth or tissue
• Zip lock plastic bag for partially-used swabs
