Hygiena GlutenTox®
GlutenTox® Controls consists of two powders in matching vials. The negative powder has been extensively tested and will always contain no detectable gluten. The positive powder will contain appx 40ppm – 80ppm gluten. These can be used for internal validation, matrix testing, or training.

The Hygiena Polyphenol Pack contains:
- sufficient Polyphenol Additive to run 25 tests
- positive and negative controls that contain polyphenols
Additive and replacement controls for detecting gluten in foods high in polyphenols, antioxidants or tannins. Suitable for use with GlutenTox Sticks PLUS
This item is recommended for facilities that:
- are using GlutenTox Sticks PLUS, or GlutenTox ELISA Rapid G12 and
- are testing items high in tannins, antioxidants, or polyphenols (eThe Hygiena g cocoa powder, black tea, berry extracts).

Hygiena AlerTox® Allergen kits
A comprehensive line of user-friendly tests specially designed to help the food industry keep their items free from the proteins that cause allergic reaction. AlerTox Sticks LFD kits are suitable for commercial kitchens and food/beverage manufacturing facilities. Test in-the-moment for all of the major allergens (and more). AlerTox Sticks LFD kits are available online.
The Hygiena AlerTox® ELISA tests are quantitative sandwich ELISAs designed for analyzing food, beverage, and surface samples for common allergens. An antibody directed against the target antigen (protein) is bound on the surface of a microtiter plate. Antigen-containing samples or standards are given into the wells of the microtiter plate. Kits are available for an array of allergens. AlerTox® ELISA kits are available online.
AlerTox® Sticks LFD kits are specially designed to help manufacturers and commercial kitchens keep their items free of unintended food allergens. The kits are user-friendly: no lab equipment, refrigeration or scientific knowledge required.
AlerTox® ELISA kits require the following equipment; contact us for a quote.
- Multi-channel pipette 50-200 μL.
- Sterile pipette tips.
- Pipettes 10-100 μL, 100-1000 μL.
- ELISA Plate Reader with filter (450 nm).

OnSite® III Allergen LFD kits
The OnSite® III Allergen test kits are designed for maximum efficiency and safety. Useful for validation of any Allergen Control Program, as well as daily monitoring. Test incoming ingredients, first products off the line, rinse water, or finished goods — plus test working surfaces with the addition of the OnSite® III Allergen Accessory Kit. The OnSite® III Allergen test kits are available online.
The OnSite® Allergen Multiplex Tree Nut lateral flow test kit simultaneously detects traces of protein from multiple tree nuts. Use it to verify the cleanliness of rinsewater and working surfaces. OnSite® Allergen Multiplex Tree Nut is available online.
The OnSite® III Allergen Accessory Kit (PA-46) is required for all surface testing and sold separately. Kit includes:
- 10 single-use breakaway swabs
- 10 single-use extraction vials
Accessory Kit can be used for all OnSite® III Allergen test kits that use the OnSite® III Allergen LFD Buffer A. Use one swab to test for multiple allergens, saving time and reducing single-use plastics.

Bio-Check (UK) Flowthrough™ Allergen LFD kits
Bio-Check (UK) Allergen FlowThrough™ LFD Swab tests allow for real-time decision-making when verifying cleaning during an allergen changeover. They are suitable for both surface swabbing and CIP rinse water testing. The Swab Device makes collecting samples easy and the 3-line lateral flow device (LFD) ensure reliable results. Kits are available for a wide range of analytes.
Bio-Check (UK) Allergen FlowThrough™ LFD Swabs are required and sold separately. Use one swab to analyze multiple allergens. Available in our shop.

Gold Standard Diagnostics SENSIStrip LFD kits
The SENSIStrip Allergen lateral flow devices are designed for quick detection of more than twenty different food allergens. With only a few minutes of incubation time, they provide a very easy-to- use test procedure for adequate control at every stage of the food manufacturing process, across food matrices, rinse water and equipment. Kits are available for a wide range of analytes.

ELISA Systems ELISA kits
The ELISA SYSTEMS assay is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that may be used to screen food products for the presence of allergenic material caused by cross-contamination. This assay is a rapid and reliable test that significantly reduces the time required to screen food products and environmental samples for the presence of allergens. Qualitative Testing & Reference Materials
Are you required to run periodic proficiency tests? Do you want to assess your QA team’s allergen detection capabilities? Incorporating proficiency testing into your food safety plan is a great way to boost customer confidence, and can help maintain SQF compliance. And while it’s very possible to design a PT program in-house, using an accredited provider has advantages.
